Research areas and interests

We are focusing on biological synthesis and the production of scale-up functional biomaterials. Synthesized DNA and structural proteins are desinged as building blocks, ultrastrong biomaterials for high-tech applications are explored. We are also performing research on the interface of biotechnology (BT) and information technology (IT).
