Expertise and Research Interests

Now the ultimate goal of his research is to precisely regulate cartilage tissue and blood vessel regeneration process in vivo through synthetic biology engineering, logically based on the comprehensive understanding of innate biological network and communications. He published more than 60 papers, mainly focusing on microbiology, biomaterials and cell level evaluation. Recently, he pursued and extended his research interests in non-coding RNA involved cell-cell communication machinery in tissue regeneration, and applying synthetic biology concept to precisely regulate engineering seed cells.
