Research Interests
Drosophila is one of the best genetic model organisms in the biomedical field. Combining the CRISPR/Cas9 and phiC31 recombineering techniques, our lab established a highly efficient gene targeting system (knock-in and knock-out) in Drosophila.
The main mission of our lab’s research is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms involved in reproductive system and development. By using genetic and biochemical methods, we focus on lncRNA and histone modifications interact with chromatin, and epigenome maintenance in development and disease.
