Dr. Ma has pioneered enabling technologies of synthetic biology and created new biomanufacturing fashion based on functional protein molecular machines, generating disruptive research from sustainability to regeneration. He has published more than 60 papers in key academic journals: four papers with corresponding authorships, including 1 in Angew. Chem. and 1 in Adv. Mater; ten papers with first authorships, including 1 in Sci. Adv. , 1 in Nat. Commun, 4 in Angew. Chem. and 4 in Adv. Mater. He also received funding from the National Excellent Young Scholar Science Program, and serves as the project leader of National Key Research and Development Program for Young Scientists, and of the Joint Fund for Young Talents of the Ministry of Education. In addition, he has been awarded by Beijing Nova Scholar Program and the Eagle Talent Program of Zhongguancun.
